Our story

Not a 200-person trail ride. A place where small groups slow down and belong.

The ranch barn at sunset

Brenda's story.

Traveler's R&R Recreation Ranch was founded by Brenda — a disabled veteran who knows what it feels like to need a place that meets you where you are.

The ranch is named after her Mustang Colt, and built on a simple idea: people heal, learn, and connect when they slow down together. Veterans, seniors, families, people with disabilities, neighbors, strangers — everyone is welcome.

What started with a few animals and a pasture grew into a Nature Center, Art Studio, Day Camp, pollinator garden, and the Bee Maze. The constant is the pace: small groups, real conversation, a welcome that lasts.

Our mission

"Creating miles and memories that last a lifetime."

Built for every body

Brenda is a disabled veteran — accessibility isn't an add-on, it's the design. The pollinator garden and flat areas welcome every ability.

Inclusive by default

Veterans, seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities are at the heart of everything we plan.

A safe place to land

Trauma-aware, animal-assisted, and intentionally small. You won't get lost in a crowd here.
